Internal Sales Assistant

The Internal Sales Administrator is based in AVEX London office.

The role is responsible for assisting the UK internal sales team members in ensuring all actions/requests are executed, processes are followed, and outcomes are completed in a timely manner. You are an advocate for both AVEX and GPA processes to ensure inputted information is precise.

You will be assisting the Sales Administration Supervisor with creating and updating the sales administration actions and outputs necessary for proposal creation, AX, CRM and Insightly systems.  It is anticipated that some customer relationships will be directly managed from within the internal Sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to the relevant colleagues, taking accurate and informative messages in their absence.
  • Communicating with clients, fellow GPA and AVEX colleagues
  • Processing won Sales Opportunities, extracting the correct reports from the system
  • Dealing with a variety of different queries from customers / suppliers
  • Creating new client accounts, recording their information accurately on AVEX internal systems
  • Verifying stock availability for items as required with AVEX suppliers
  • Issuing order acknowledgments for each purchase order processed
  • Assisting with marketing activities and contributing ideas to help grow AVEX UK market profile
  • Assisting the Team in any way that will lead to success for the UK AVEX business
  • Providing Monthly and weekly reports when requested

Required knowledge and skills

  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • An excellent knowledge and experience of AVEX internal IT systems (after a reasonable training and experience period)
  • Excellent English language communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic negotiation skills
  • Showing patience while demonstrating an ability to handle pressure
