TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO HEALTHCARE PROCESSES
We have equipped the hospital with:
- Digital signage
- Videoconferencing
- Presentations spaces
- Camera registration system
Each of these solutions support the primary care processes and promote optimal information transfer
The hospital consists of four different locations in Voorburg, Naaldwijk, The Hague-Ypenburg and the main location in Delft. Reinier de Graaf provides hospital care to around 450,000 people in the immediate surroundings.
RAZOR-SHARP DISPLAY
Colleagues meet for consultation and presentations in the conference and training rooms of the hospital. And thanks to videoconferencing, doctors can consult with colleagues at other locations.
For the optimal sharing of medical images and patient data, the rooms are equipped with 55” and 65” presentation screens. The screens offer a razor-sharp display.
INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYEES AND PATIENTS
Through digital information screens, employees are at various places provided with the very latest information on logistics, planning and medication. These ‘Schiphol signs’ that measure 42” show real-time information 24 hours a day.
Digital signage is also used to welcome patients and visitors and to inform them in waiting and hospitality rooms.
We wanted to create a welcoming space for patients and visitors, while at the same time offering employees a pleasant working environment. The new presentation screens are a huge step forward. The display is significantly better than before. The tailor-made spaces for videoconferencing also function to everyone’s satisfaction.
EVENTS HALL
The events hall of the hospital is used to accommodate conferences, presentations and church services. This large space can also be divided into two or three separate rooms for smaller groups. The audiovisual systems are designed to provide the necessary flexibility. The space is equipped with:
- projectors (Sony)
- an audio system
- camera registration
The 3 Sony projectors use Full HD and WUXGA format, while the applied 3LCD technology give the projectors a continuous operating time of 20,000 hours. The church services are shown live via IP-TV, so that patients can attend them while in bed.
SIMPLE CONTROLS
We devoted a great deal of attention to ensuring the user-friendliness of all systems, which is supported by the Crestron touch panels, which has clear function keys.
