With a view to working safely, AVEX has adapted the working environment and work processes. We keep a close eye on developments with regard to the coronavirus and anticipate where necessary and possible. The well-being and safety of everyone is paramount.

How can we be reached?

You can reach us via the normal telephone numbers. Currently, “hybrid” working is the norm and many people work partly at home and partly on location (office or customer location) based on an occupancy schedule. Only if working from home is not possible due to the nature of the position is this deviated from. Our people can be reached by e-mail or the telephone numbers known to you.

We receive limited visitors at our locations and in our showrooms and by appointment only. Appointments are made as much as possible via video meetings. Delivery of goods is as yet possible without restrictions.

General precautions

Regarding the coronavirus AVEX keeps a close eye on developments related to the coronavirus and we anticipate where necessary and possible. The well-being and safety of everyone is paramount. With regard to precautions and advice, we are fully committed to the guidelines of the National Government.

Within AVEX we proactively communicate to our employees about the measures and guidelines to be followed regarding the corona virus and safe working. We share current information via AVEX Daily and AVEX Weekly news messages through multiple channels such as e-mail, Teams and digital information screens. We urgently advise our employees to proactively follow the information and reports of the Central Government themselves and have internally shared the links to the most important information pages.

We receive limited visitors at our locations and in our showrooms and by appointment only. Delivery of goods is still possible without restrictions.

For internal and external meetings, video meetings are used as much as possible.

With a view to working safely, AVEX has adapted the working environment and work processes to the 1.5 meter guideline. Various safety provisions and measures have been taken to ensure safe working in the office and in the field and to ensure remote working. For the coming period, ‘hybrid’ working is the norm and many people work partly at home and partly on location (office or customer location) based on an occupancy schedule. If working from home is not possible due to the nature of the position, this is deviated from.

Extra hygiene measures

Within AVEX, extra measures have been taken to further improve hygiene in our working environment and to protect the health of everyone as much as possible. There is a clean desk policy and every doorknob, coffee machine buttons, banisters etc. are disinfected daily. Disinfectant hand pumps have been placed everywhere.

The working environment and workplaces have been adapted to the 1.5 meter guideline with the aid of protective facilities, adjustment of air circulation and marking of walking routes. Our field staff also have safety features including safety masks for those situations where they cannot keep the 1.5 meter distance. The transport vehicles are equipped with screens between rider and co-driver.

Our employees are also informed through various information channels about the most important measures that everyone can take themselves to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Supply continuity

Due to the now global spread of corona and the limitations of flows of goods, there are many questions about the impact of the corona virus outbreak on the delivery of goods

We are in constant contact with our suppliers with a large team to keep up to date with any delays in delivery times. If delays occur, we will communicate this to our client as soon as possible and, in consultation, possibly look for alternatives.

Continuity of our services

Despite the special situation, our company continues to operate as much as possible. We naturally use the available collaboration tools and video communication to ensure that our processes continue as smoothly as possible. Video and audio communication play a crucial role in many vital processes. As an audiovisual and video communication specialist, we do our utmost to ensure that our services continue as much as possible.

In the unlikely event that employees drop out, AVEX will do its utmost to guarantee the continuity of services. Our central planning department always has an overview of the work to be carried out and will try to set the right priorities.

If necessary, we will give priority to questions related to vital processes of, for example, healthcare institutions, ministries, crisis centers, emergency rooms and judicial institutions.

We also immediately follow guidelines and measures that we receive from our clients by informing colleagues who work for the client in question about the specific guidelines.

For any cancellation of assignments related to rental and events, we refer to our general terms and conditions of rental, more specifically “Article 4 Cancellation”.
