• Sustainability: E-Paper

E-paper technology is developing rapidly with bright colors and larger displays. This is environmentally friendly and reduces paper waste. In retail, e-paper displays are used for smart labels that can be updated remotely. In offices, they are used for digital nameplates and meeting room signs, which need to be updated regularly without much energy consumption.

• Sustainability: LED

CMD LED replaces SMD LED, offering lower power consumption, higher contrast, better protection and longer lifespan. These improved LED solutions will permanently replace the video walls.

• Artificial Intelligence in AV

Countless AI applications, which make AV systems more intelligent and efficient. Ranging from automated content creation to smart meeting solutions, with AI-driven video conferencing cameras and audio systems. More and more AV devices are getting an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) in addition to a CPU and GPU to make AI more efficient and less dependent on the Cloud.

• Privacy and security

There is a growing focus on privacy and security within AV systems, especially with the integration of IP-based technologies. This is partly due to the new NIS2 regulations from Europe. Advanced encryption methods ensure that data is better protected from unauthorized access during transmission and storage. Zero-trust security increases security through continuous monitoring and verification of all users and devices.

• Simplification

There is a strong trend towards ease of use, with easy-to-use interfaces and integrated solutions that simplify the installation and management of AV equipment. With all-in-one solutions that include integrated occupancy sensors and space management software. This makes the management and insight of spaces easier and more efficient.

• Audio Algorithm

Improved algorithms and AI technologies provide better speech intelligibility by distinguishing unwanted sound from speech even better. Smart audio bars and ceiling solutions ensure that poor acoustic rooms can still be used for video conferencing.
