Commitment to build a sustainable future

Recently AVEX have set science-based targets to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions in line with climate science. We are proud to tell our targets are validated by The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Our targets in detail

The validation of our targets underlines our ambition and is an important step towards further reducing our CO₂ footprint. It proves our commitment, by doing not what is easy but what is necessary.

  • AVEX commits to reduce scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 63% by 2035 from a 2024 base year, and to measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions.
  • We commit to reach net-zero by 2050. As part of this, AVEX commits to reduce scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions 95% by 2050 from our 2024 base year.

Our approved targets are listed on the SBTi Target Dashboard.

During the validation process, we were successfully supported by Stichting Stimular.
