More focus ensures growth of AVEX Event Facilities

At AVEX, Marjolein Koens-Schaddelee has joined the Management Team (MT). In her new role, she is responsible for the operational and commercial activities at Event Facilities. The business activity within AVEX for providing temporary audiovisual solutions for live and virtual events.

AVEX’s Event Facilities has grown strongly in the past 4 years due to a strong focus on the Dutch and international market. The growth is mainly due to the number of large-scale events and in the past year mainly the hybrid events and the live stream broadcasts on location and from our own studios.

Marjolein is no stranger to the organization as the daughter of René Schaddelee, the CEO of the family business. Since 2016 she has been working at AVEX in various disciplines and roles. She has also gained a lot of experience in the Event and Hospitality market.

In addition to facilitating event facilities , AVEX has also built 3 livestream studios at a rapid pace in the past year, in order to meet the strong demand from the market. Started as a pop-up studio, which eventually became permanent. A Talk Show Studio and a Virtual Studio are located in the AVEX STUDIOS in Utrecht (NL). In addition, at the end of last year, Studio A2 Café was realized at the head office in Breukelen. An atmospheric livestream studio in the style of a pub.
