News about the Surface Hub 2S
The successor to the Surface Hub, the Surface Hub 2S, is available right now. What we know:
The Surface Hub 2S is available in one size, namely a 50.5-inch version on a mobile trolley. The hardware is completely new, the software is the same as the Surface Hub 1. In the course of 2020, a Surface Hub 2X is expected. This version has new possibilities such as turning the screen, multiple screens together and fingerprint recognition. A Surface Hub 2S can be upgraded to a 2X at an additional cost through the change of a hardware component.
Microsoft Teams now also available for Surface Hub
In addition to Skype for Business, Microsoft has now also made Microsoft Teams available for the Surface Hub. Microsoft Teams is the new collaboration tool and communication tool in Office 365. Teams will replace Skype for Business online within Office 365. Skype for Business and Teams can be active on your Surface Hub at the same time.
To make Teams active for the Surface Hub1, action is needed. We are happy to help you with this.
New Microsoft Whiteboard app for Surface Hub
Microsoft has also made a successor available for the Whiteboard app on the Surface Hub1. The previous app is automatically updated on May 21. The new Whiteboard app has handy new features.
Consider the persistence of whiteboards in the cloud (automatically saved), support for Windows 10, iOS and a web app. More opportunities for collaboration and see who is working on the board.
