AVEX Connected Care

Service at the right pace

Pro-active monitoring of your AV and IT systems

More than ever, we use technology in our daily lives. Every building and space is full of technology. But what if it doesn’t work for a while?
How much time is lost due to technical failures? What impact does it have on core processes? And is the equipment up to date and safe?

Active monitoring

There is a need for greater insight in many organisations. In doing so, they want to take the next step in the service process. With AVEX Connected Care, we offer a unique monitoring solution for this purpose. This is how we help customers move towards proactive service provision.

How does Connected Care work?

With Connected Care, we can monitor the performance of your IT and AV infrastructure in real time. Together with you, we determine which rooms and equipment will be linked to the smart Pulse platform, a cloud-based environment. After linking, each system becomes visible in the Pulse dashboard. From then on, the support team can monitor the status of the systems. This allows you to identify failures in good time. Often even before the user reports them.

With Pulse, we look at the bigger picture. After all, a system only works when the whole chain works. This allows us to optimise operation and security.

The dashboard function that Pulse offers across all devices – regardless of brand and platform – is unique and powerful.

Pulse dashboard

Our support team remotely monitors the status of your systems. They do this from our Service Desk. This is a professionally equipped control room. Expert employees are continuously available there. They actively monitor problems. And they provide direct remote support to users.

Monitoring small and large environments

AVEX Connected Care is a service suitable for small environments with a few critical systems, but also for large environments with thousands of devices.

Configuration management and release management are also important in the overall process. AVEX takes care of standard configuration of devices. During the lifecycle, we also manage the rollout of security patches and updates via the Pulse platform.

More and more devices are interconnected. This sometimes makes it difficult to determine a cause of a malfunction. Through active monitoring, Pulse helps to make a correct diagnosis. For example, we can see whether a malfunction stems from the hardware. Or because data is not coming in.

Our team prioritises based on impact and agreed response times. The Pulse dashboard provides quick insight into:

  • all devices
  • of all brands
  • and all ecosystems
  • across all locations

Of course, our Connected Care service is not a ‘one-size-fits-all’. It offers a flexible service level. Together, we determine the division of roles between your and our team.

For a small amount per room per month, you are guaranteed optimum system availability.

Monitoring in practice

Our Pulse dashboard provides a huge wealth of data for support and service staff. We cite a few examples:

A support employee wants to see fault reports in order of importance.
For a technical specialist, it is important to see which software version is running on the device. For example, to remotely update the firmware. Because of new features or security risks.
A service employee wants to diagnose remotely. To see that a cable is missing or loose. Or be able to reboot a system.

Do you know which failure is most common within your organisation? We would be happy to help you get a picture of that and more.
