We have been awarded gold!
Following the recent annual review by EcoVadis, AVEX has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold rating.
With this Gold medal, AVEX reaches the top 8% best rated companies in our industry with its sustainability initiatives. Compared to last year, AVEX has risen from Silver to Gold.
Achieving EcoVadis Gold is an important milestone in achieving AVEX’s ambitious sustainability goals. AVEX feels responsible for the impact of its business activities on the environment and the community and wants to reduce this impact as much as possible.
Attention is paid to working conditions of our employees, but also by supporting various social initiatives. In addition, our investments in renewable energy and products and processes are aimed at reducing environmental impact.
Our own objectives and results are assessed annually. This is done by EcoVadis, the largest business sustainability assessor worldwide.

Sustainability is not just about the environment, it is much broader. It is about collectively creating a better world for everyone.
AVEX has placed its sustainability policy in a broader perspective and made it fit the global standard anno now: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
Of the 17 SDGs, we have chosen five that fit AVEX’s sustainability themes. For each SDG, spearheads were identified that we want to achieve in the coming years. All this has been elaborated and recorded in the AVEX Sustainability Report 2022
EcoVadis is an international independent agency that assesses companies’ sustainability performance in the areas of environment, good working conditions, sustainable procurement and fair business practices. Its methodology is based on international CSR standards, such as the Global Reporting Initiative and United Nations Global Compact. Through its platform, EcoVadis makes CSR performance transparent, allowing suppliers who supply sustainably and companies who want to buy sustainably to find each other.
